I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, specializing in supporting individuals, families, and children through life’s challenges. With over a decade of experience, I work with people from all backgrounds, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, to navigate complex concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum experiences, eating disorders, and the enduring effects of transgenerational trauma. For individuals, I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you can explore emotional challenges, gain insight into your patterns, and create meaningful change. Whether you are facing a life transition, coping with grief, managing stress, or seeking to overcome long-standing struggles, my goal is to help you cultivate resilience, self-awareness, and the tools you need to live a balanced, empowered life. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and somatic techniques to address both the mind and body’s role in healing. For families, I work to strengthen communication, foster connection, and repair relationships during difficult transitions like separation, illness, or end-of-life care. I provide guidance to parents and caregivers, helping them develop practical tools to support their children or adolescents through crises, behavioral challenges, and emotional growth. By fostering open, empathetic dialogue, my aim is to create a healing space that benefits the whole family, empowering you to work through challenges together. For children and adolescents, I utilize a range of developmentally appropriate approaches, including play therapy, expressive arts, and narrative therapy, to help young people express themselves, build confidence, and develop the emotional skills they need to thrive. I create a safe, non-judgmental environment where children feel heard and understood, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels accessible and supportive. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I believe in the power of creative expression and body-based techniques to unlock emotional healing, especially when words alone are not enough. I am deeply committed to cultural humility, ensuring that I approach each individual, family, or child with respect for their unique experiences, identities, and perspectives. My work is grounded in anti-oppressive practices, and I strive to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space for all clients. Clients often describe my approach as warm, empathetic, and deeply empowering. Whether you are an individual seeking self-discovery, a family looking to heal, or a child needing a safe space to grow, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we will explore what’s holding you back, uncover your strengths, and work toward creating the meaningful changes you envision. I invite you to reach out for a free consultation to discuss how we can work together. Healing, growth, and transformation are possible, and I am here to support you on this journey.
